My biggest goal is to become a doctor. I want to become a doctor because I want to make an impact on the community. Seeing the faces of cured patients would be a meaningful experience. Becoming a doctor is a very hard task- hours of studying and volunteering. Medical school is hard, and I must work hard in school now too. But I know that in the end, it will be worth it because my dreams will come true. I am not sure what type of doctor I want to become. There are many possibilities when it comes to the medical field. Sometimes I want to be a psychiatrist and other times a pediatrician and other times a cardiologist. Sometimes I even want to be an orthodontist. I know choosing just one will be tough, but I hope that when the time comes, I make the right one. I like to think that I will fulfill my goals and will have my practice. I think that if I do not become a doctor, I will be unhappy because I was not able to fulfill my goal. I hope I can get into medical school and pass to become a doctor. I have been thinking about this ever since I was a little girl. Doctors are some of the most important people in this world because of the time and effort they take to ensure everyone is healthy. I admire their dedication to their patients, and I want to be able to do the same when I get older. I know the journey will be hard, but I know that it will be worth it in the end and I will be very happy.
My dream vacation would be to Italy and Greece. Both countries have rich histories, beautiful landscapes, and delicious foods. I want to stay in a hotel near the sea so that I can observe the sunset over the water. Staying in a fine hotel that has a gorgeous view from my room would make the trip a lot more enjoyable. I always wanted to go sightseeing. Both Italy and Greece are known for their ancient architecture, which is praised often for their ingenuity and magnificence. It would be a great pleasure to be able to witness the scene myself. I want to go to a beach so that I could see the peaceful transparent water washing up on the white sandy shores and visit outstanding restaurants because Mediterranean food is known to be delicious. Going on a canal ride would be entertaining as well because then I could have a tranquil evening on the water. Another place that would be pleasant to visit is Palestine because I want to visit the Masjid al Aqsa, a significant Islamic place. I want to go to Dubai because it is a very modern, but elegant (if this word makes sense to describe a country) place. Dubai has delicious Arabian food and excellent restaurants that I would like to eat from. I want to stay in a luxurious hotel room with lots of chandeliers and decorative furniture because it would be a delightful experience. I also want to view the skyline during night and sunset because it would be very appealing.

Stress is a hard thing to cope with. Right now in school, I am taking 4 AP classes and have my SATs coming up soon. I have to spend a lot of time studying because in total I have 5 major tests coming up in the next two months. So needless to say, I am stressed. Though I will say, part of the reason I have so much work is because of my inadequate scheduling skills. I have a hard time allocating time towards studying and maintaining my tasks. So it makes it a lot harder to get things done. I am currently studying for my AP Chem test and need a break. One of the reasons I am writing at 12 in the night right now is because I need a way to relieve my stress, and writing helps. I think I will start making schedules from here on out. That way I will know what to study and when to study. It will be hard to manage time and study for all these things and maintain my classes, but I know I will be able to do it. Remaining optimistic always help to persevere and do well. Hopefully, everything will work out in the end.
I think we can all agree that 2020 was a tough year. With Covid, many of our lives changed drastically. I had to switch from in-learning to virtual learning and had to give up my volunteer opportunities. My father worked during Covid and it was terrifying because every day when he came home, my family would have to be in fear of being in contact with the virus. But he was forced to work so that he could support us. The rest of my family did not leave the house in months. We would buy groceries online. I think in those few months we had bought more Amazon and Walmart products than in the past few years. It was a distressing time, but focusing on the positives helped me to get through those times. For example, one of the benefits of online school is that I could wake up later because I did not have to wake up so early to get early. Though I will admit, there was not much to look forward to. But still, life will move on and so we must move on with it. Eventually, things will get better. We just have to persevere and hope for the best.
